Ted Dixon

Ted Dixon, also a native of Duxbury, MA, graduated from Duxbury High School in 1986. After graduating from Bates College in Lewiston, ME with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990, Ted pursued and earned a Master of Science degree from the United States Sports Academy in 1992. Deciding to move to the West Coast, Ted worked as a Track and Cross-Country Coach at San Diego State University from 1991 through 1993. Missing the East Coast, Ted took a multi-faceted position at Swarthmore College from 1993 through 1998 as the Head Coach of the Track and Cross-Country teams and Assistant to the Athletic Director. From 1998 to 1999, he sold creative design services for a small marketing firm in Annapolis, MD. Ted is proud to say that the revenues doubled in size during his tenure. In 1999, he founded and ran a successful on-line sporting goods business. In 2003, Ted and his wife moved back to Duxbury with their three children. Ted has been with Dixon Associates since May of 2003 and specializes in group benefits, retirement plans, and individual life insurance/estate planning. Ted and his family currently reside in Duxbury, MA.
